I bring over three decades of experience in K-12 education, including classroom teaching, special education, English language learning, and district mentoring and induction leadership. My work is grounded in the realities of schools and focused on building practical, sustainable systems that support educators and strengthen retention.

My background in general education, special education, and ELL informs an inclusive approach to mentoring and induction systems that serve all educators and learners. I have spent my career working within one Iowa school district, allowing me to deeply understand how mentoring, induction, and professional learning systems function over time — and how they can be strengthened to meet evolving district needs.
